The name of our university, which was established as Ağrı Mountain University with the law numbered 5662 and dated 17.05.2007, was changed as Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University with the law numbered 5773 and entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated 28.06.2008 and numbered 26920.
