Beskrivning av organisationen

Non-profit society Andolina Sociedad Cooperativa Asturiana is an educational organization constituted by the families of children coming to our school. Since 2011, our pedagogical project was declared of social interest. It fosters an educational environment that invites the development of an individual through the acquisition of skills, knowledge and experiences based on the inherent interests of the person. In paralell to the shcool activities, the school functions as a coopertative. In other words, we aim to build a model of self-management at different levels.
Our objectives:
- Develop a model of educational community that transcends strictly the school environment involving the society and the world in which it is integrated.
- Encourage cooperative experience and values, in the closer social environment, by serving as a direct and participatory model for similar experiences
- Inspire the social coexistence from democratic and participative principles, developing a model for it that the volunteers can take as a reference.
- Build bridges of solidarity with other groups that translate into actions in favor of specific groups: the elderly, cultural and social associations, other educational projects ... through the inclusion of agents of these groups in the structure of the cooperative.
