Beskrivelse af organisationen

The Lithuanian Red Cross belongs to the global Red Cross and Red Crescent movement and is a reliable state auxiliary in the humanitarian field. The goal of the voluntary based organization is to provide assistance to people affected by the crisis in Lithuania and abroad.
The main areas of activity of the Lithuanian Red Cross are focused on helping those in crisis:
- care and visitation of elderly lonely people;
- first aid training;
- social, legal and humanitarian assistance to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers;
- humanitarian aid for vulnerable people in Lithuania and abroad.
