Kaunas archdiocese Caritas (KA Caritas) is catholic organization that carries out humanitarian work in Kaunas archdiocese (region) and helps the poor, regardless of their race, religion, gender or nationality. KA Caritas relies on the social teaching of the Catholic Church, which emphasizes human dignity. The activity is based on social work methods and Catholic values. Comprehensive services are provided to those who directly request the assistance and to target groups: convicts, homeless people, people with epilepsy, children in difficulty, foster / adoptive parents or children in care, etc.).
