Beskrivning av organisationen

Pirityiset ry is one of Finland’s 54 local action groups for the Leader programme. Pirityiset funds projects that promote common-good non-profit and business activities. With project and business support the association encourages inhabitants in the countryside to develop their home area, increase its vitality and create new jobs and enterprises. Non-profit communities can get funding for investment or development projects to improve services and quality of living in the countryside. Businesses can get support for starting, extending and developing their activities. The aim is to utilize local expertise and know-how in the development of the region and accelerate the rural population centers’ growth into attractive residential communities. Leader work gets its funding from the rural programme. Pirityiset ry was founded in 1997.
