Beskrivelse af organisationen

Helsinki Pioneers is a non profit children and youth organization based in Helsinki. Helsinki Pioneers
history goes back to early 50s and we have a huge experience in organizing various types of
activities from all year clubs, summer camps and art projects for children and young people to
trainings for young people and adults. Through our history we have been organizing different types of
events both local, nation wide and transnational. Last twenty years the main method in our activities
has been the use of participative art workshops. We have been creating projects in music, theatre,
dance and visual arts letting children and young people create their own art together with
professional artists sharing their skills with participants.
