“GiP – Gemeinnützige Projekt GmbH" is a private and social organisation which works on offers in the field of education and which works on projects and programmes of Early Years Childcare and Education. GiP focuses on the cooperation of intergenerational houses and institutions as well as the elaboration of measures criteria and counselling for private institutions and public organisations in pedagogical and family care issues.In the institute there are at the time working four colleagues to realize all the projects running at the moment. But GiP is also cooperating with scientists and students of all regional and national universities. The focus of the work is in Styria and Graz but there are existing cooperations to all the regions in Austria and neighbored countries like Slovenia and Croatia. GiP is member of the National Coalition on Children´s Rights and of the European Child Friendly-City Network. GIP is specialized in early childhood education andfocuses on two different age group levels from 0-3 years and from 3-6 years. Professional pedagogical staff works in two different contexts. On the one hand, in the groups of the younger ones, there are usually 13 children and three adults and for the group of the3 to 6 year old ones there is a maximum of 25 children and two adults looking after them. On the other hand, professional academic pedagogues get also involved on scientific projects and the administrative implementation of projects on a collaborative basis. We are looking for volunteers who can support both teams locally. The basic center of GiP is situated in Graz.
