Opis organizacije

Magellan Experience's mission is to promote the non-formal education and volunteering.

Our organisation promotes the non-formal educational activities within our community, we give youngsters the possibility to open themselves through international opportunities, to meet different cultures and to join new activities that use non formal educational methods.

Among the main strategic development points of Magellan Experience is to encourage and increase the skills of the younger generation. The subject is considered to be a very important one and our association considers that properly provided education to young people is a step forward in their formation as responsible people and really involved in our community.

We are a new organization which means that, having not done any projects, our experience is limited.
Two of us were volunteer coordinators, one of us in Romania and in Turkey, which means that we've dealt with different volunteers from different cultures.
The other three were themselves local volunteers which helped and interacted with the volunteers that came here.

We ourselves have not been (yet) EVS volunteers, but our experience, not limited to being local volunteers at local organizations and/or projects, until now, with others that were, helped us to understand all its aspects.

Even if our organization is new, we believe that our combined experience will help us to be successful.

- we want to help our community through our work, with the help our volunteers, and also, through this, improve ourselves to become more accomplished citizens and people

- the two coordinators will deal with the management and coordinating work, and because one of the coordinators is also an accountant he will deal with this aspect as well. also, the experiences and connections that we had in the past, working only as coordinators, with other organisations here and from all over the country helped to improve ourselves and widen our connection circle.
