Opis organizacije

Friedehorst is a diaconal institution that for over 70 years has been providing competent help, trusting care and individual support to children, young people, and adults. Founded on a former barracks site in Lesum, the facility has developed over the years a variety of offerings, which is unique in this form in northern Germany. With around 1,400 employees, who care for around 2,000 people each year, we as the provider of social-diaconal services are one of the largest employers in Bremen-Nord. Our activities span from helping children, adults to older people with different disabilities to educating young nurses and medical technicians. We stand for solidarity and helping those that are in need and these are the values we are very proud of.
