Beskrivelse af organisationen

We carry out a series of activities at local/National and International level through which we disseminate knowledge of children's rights among minors, young people and adults (referring to the 1989 UN Convention) to encourage interpersonal dynamics with particular attention to multi-ethnic, generational, gender integration, promoting the protagonism and participation of children and young people. Arciragazzi is a voluntary organization supporting awareness campaigns and socially
relevant initiatives in cooperation with other associations and local authorities.

The core objectives pursued by Arciragazzi are:
- INCLUSIVE CULTURE: to promote a culture of anti-sexism, anti-racism, against homo-lesbotransphobia, xenophobia, Islamophobia and all forms of discrimination;
- EDUCATION AND CHANGE: to produce social change through Non-Formal Education on Human Rights;
- INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY: to promote international mobility and intercultural learning among young people;
- INCLUSION AND PARTICIPATION: to promote and active youth participation and citizenship, combating social exclusion and radicalisation;
- PROJECTS MANAGEMENT AND FUNDING: seeking funding opportunities on the local, state and international level applying for call for proposals and grants on the local, state and international level.

The activities include different moments of non-formal learning in order to improve the quality of interventions to foster progress in youth work and/or other stakeholders; stimulate and encourage mutual cultural knowledge and understanding; fight stereotypes and prejudices and promote active citizenship among young people and increase their sense of solidarity.
