Beskrivelse af organisationen

The Sommerblut Kulturfestival was founded in 2006 and is committed to alternative cultural projects
within the cultural life of the city of Cologne. The association wants to take up current political and
cultural topics. To this end, an open, alternative, international and diverse cultural program is
organized every year, focusing on inclusive, integrative and professional cultural projects. The
objectives of the Sommerblut Kulturfestival e.V. are to creatively break taboos, to provide impulses
for social discourses and further developments, and to present the Sommerblut audience with new
perspectives and new horizons. The association strives for the cooperation of people with disabilities,
socially disadvantaged people, lay people and professional artists. The association wants to open up
a platform for disabled and socially disadvantaged people. The association wants to enable artistic
creation that derives its value and appeal precisely from the individual's handicap. For this purpose,
the Sommerblut Kulturfestival promotes its own productions in the areas of theater, music and dance.
