The Solidaritätsjugend Deutschlands, regional association of Bavaria is a youth organisation whose activities cover the whole of Bavaria.
The main focus of its activities is the promotion of popular sports and the promotion of political and general education for children and young people. The cultivation of international friendships with the aim of creating free personalities who are aware of their responsibility towards the general public is an equally important task. Leisure activities and holiday activities are the most important part of the work of Solidaritätsjugend Bayern.
Friendship with and openness towards all is the highest commandment of the Solidarity Youth. It therefore exercises religious and party-political tolerance, rejects all racial hatred and opposes all anti-democratic influences.

Goals and concerns
Extracurricular youth education is the task of all volunteers of Solidaritätsjugend Bayern. This happens not only within the association, but also by means of open youth work.
The Solidaritätsjugend Bayern offers youth adequate offers for political education. The group leaders pass on their knowledge gained at the seminars in their daily youth work on site. The aim is to promote the participation of young people and young adults in democratic opinion-forming processes and to arrive at positions on youth policy.
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern maintains international relations and participates in international projects with a special focus on the further development of youth work. Group meetings at home and abroad, joint youth meetings, cultural exchange etc. are carried out by the groups. For many years, Solidaritätsjugend Bayern has been organizing a variety of youth encounters with youth organizations abroad and has experienced a great interest in an exchange on both sides. It is our goal to reduce mutual prejudices and to contribute to peace between the cultures through the exchange and the common experiences of young people with different cultural backgrounds.
The work with children is becoming more and more important in the association. More and more children's groups are forming in the local groups. The integration of family offers is carried out in model projects.
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern has set itself the goal of actively tackling the issue of inclusion. We want to speak to all children and young people in the Solidaritätsjugend Bayern. We want everyone to belong from the very beginning, regardless of social status, cultural and religious background, sexual orientation or intellectual, psychological or physical impairments. We want to improve the participation of children and young people in their leisure time
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern mainly works with the measure formats youth camps (as weekend or holiday camps), quiz tournaments (as youth education or environmental education measures).
Other topics that Solidaritätsjugend Bayern deals with include:

Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern is also the service point for information, training, exhibition and promotion of the JuLeiCa (youth leader card).

Die Solidaritätsjugend Deutschlands, Landesverband Bayern ist eine Jugendorganisation, deren Tätigkeit sich über ganz Bayern erstreckt.
Schwerpunkte der Tätigkeit sind die Pflege von Breitensport sowie die Förderung der staatspolitischen und allgemeinen Bildung der Kinder und Jugendlichen. Die Pflege internationaler Freundschaften, mit dem Ziel, freie Persönlichkeiten zu schaffen, ist ein weiterer wichtiger Bestandteil der Arbeit. Die Freizeitgestaltung und Ferienmaßnahmen sind für die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern das Tagesgeschäft.
Freundschaft mit und Offenheit gegenüber allen ist oberstes Gebot der Solidaritätsjugend Bayern. Sie übt deshalb religiöse und parteipolitische Toleranz, lehnt jeden Rassenhass ab und wendet sich gegen alle antidemokratischen Einflüsse.

Ziele und Anliegen
Die außerschulische Jugendbildung ist die Aufgabe aller Ehrenamtlichen der Solidaritätsjugend Bayern. Dies geschieht nicht nur innerhalb des Verbandes, sondern auch mittels
offener Jugendarbeit.
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern bietet jugendadäquate Angebote zur politischen Bildungsarbeit an.
Die Gruppenleiter/-innen geben ihr auf den Seminaren gewonnenes Wissen in ihrer täglichen
Jugendarbeit vor Ort weiter. Ziel ist dabei die Partizipation von Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen an demokratischen Meinungsbildungsprozesse zu fördern und zu jugendpolitischen Positionierungen zu kommen.
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern pflegt internationale Beziehungen und nimmt an internationalen Projekten mit speziellem Fokus auf Weiterentwicklung der Jugendarbeit teil. Die Gruppenbegegnungen im In- und Ausland, gemeinsame Jugendbegegnungen, kultureller Austausch usw. werden von den Gruppen durchgeführt. Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern führt seit vielen Jahren vielfältige Jugendbegegnungen mit Jugendorganisationen im Ausland durch und erfährt ein großes Interesse auf beiden Seiten an einem Austausch. Unser Ziel ist es, durch den Austausch und die gemeinsamen Erfahrungen der jungen Menschen, mit verschiedenen kulturellen Hintergründen gegenseitige Vorurteile abzubauen und zum Frieden zwischen den Kulturen beizutragen.
Die Arbeit mit Kindern bekommt im Verband einen immer größeren Stellenwert. In den Ortsgruppen bilden sich immer mehr Kindergruppen. Die Einbindung von Familienangeboten wird in Modellprojekten durchgeführt.
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern hat sich vorgenommen, das Thema Inklusion aktiv anzugehen. Wir wollen damit alle Kinder und Jugendliche in der Solidaritätsjugend Bayern ansprechen. Wir wollen, dass jeder von Beginn an dazugehört, unabhängig vom sozialen Status, vom kulturellen und religiösen Hintergrund, von der sexuellen Orientierung oder von intellektuellen, psychischen oder physischen Beeinträchtigungen. Wir wollen hiermit die Teilhabe von Kindern und Jugendlichen in der Freizeit verbessern.
Die Solidaritätsjugend Bayern arbeitet vor allem mit den Maßnahmenformaten Jugendlager (als Wochenend- oder Ferienlager), Quizturniere (als Jugendbildungs- oder Umweltbildungsmaßnahmen).
