Beskrivning av organisationen

Institution for education of juveniles Bedekovčina is a part of Croatian social care system and it provides social services out of the families,help,counseling and half-day treatment in schools for children and young people with behavior problems,mental health issues as well as for children and juveniles at risk from developing behavior problems.
Our mission is to create safe and encouraging environment for children and young people and help them to overcome behavior and emotional problems they are facing as well as education deficit.
Focusing on life skills development we help them to develop tools and gain knowledge so they can become responsible and productive members of the community.
The goal of the institution is to open towards local community and wider in order to raise interest in its work and to include other relevant stakeholders which can contribute in creating positive environment for children and young people.
Besides our regular activities, we have organized 5 international voluntary camps with the participation of more then 50 volunteers from different countries of Europe.Also,we work with local civil associations on the projects that include volunteering and its promotion in the society.
