Beskrivelse af organisationen

The culture and leisure sector is a part of the esducation department of Kronoby. The main tasks for the sector is to develop and create a rich cultural life, create and support youthwork, enable and support sport activities and health promotion over all. In our work we follow our own five years strategy and also the common laws of Finland. For kids and youths we organize different kinds of sport and cultural activities. In Kronoby we have many different associations who organize also activities for youths and we do support their work as well. We also organize many different happenings throughout the year. We also do co-operate with the citys and communities close to us. One of our strengths is that Kronoby is quite small community with about 6500 inhabitants which enables flexibility in our work and possibilities to try out new things.
