The Eklezja Foundation is a young organization established in order to develop activities in the field of civic, European and intercultural education and to animate activities for the benefit of young people in the Podhale region, in particular in the Nowy Targ and Tatra poviats. The organization was founded basing on the extensive experience of its staff, feeling the need to undertake such activities for the development of young people in our region.
The motive for establishing the foundation was the desire to develop activities in the region, of which there is very little here. In particular, we care about shaping the attitude of openness, understanding and respect for diversity, readiness for international and intercultural cooperation among young people and the local community, increasing the sense of belonging to the European community and promoting the idea of ​​common Europe.

The most important goals of the foundation's activities include:
1) Supporting the youth movement as well as educational and educational activities for young people, including:
2) Organizing various forms of physical culture and sport, promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
3) Organizing, supporting and developing tourism and tourist facilities.
4) Supporting the cultural movement, initiating and supporting cultural initiatives, and promoting Polish culture at home and abroad.
5) Supporting the ecological movement and all undertakings aimed at environmental protection.
6) Promoting attitudes of tolerance, openness and respect towards other people, and acceptance of diversity.
7) Supporting the participation of non-governmental organizations in building civil society and active participation of young people in this process.

The main target groups of the foundation's activities are: youth, young leaders and volunteers, youth workers, local decision-makers.

The Foundation cooperates and animates the activities of local youth leaders, supports young volunteers carrying out projects for the local community.
The most important activities of the foundation include:
- developing a youth club that implements various local initiatives and creates space for development for young local leaders,
- implementation of educational programs of a workshop nature, addressed to young people,
- support and cooperation with local youth councils and local governments to develop civic engagement of young people

The Foundation cooperates with local organizations and institutions, mainly working in the field of youth.
