Beskrivning av organisationen

Prodis (Prodiscapacitats Fundació Privada Terrassenca) is a social initiative non-profit organisation, aimed at the assistance and comprehensive promotion of adults with intellectual disabilities, mental disorders or cerebral palsy. At Prodis we understand that the improvement of the quality of life is not only the absence of disease, but also involves maximizing the capacities of people, promoting good physical, mental and social health. We accompany our users in a personalized way in their life journey, focusing on providing answers and improving all dimensions of their quality of life. We think that volunteering is a key piece of the puzzle, since it unites the people we serve with our community and society, while we continue with our direct awareness-raising work. We think that the European volunteering through ESC is one more step towards this search for integration and it will be a very enriching cultural exchange.
