Opis organizacije

Casa Hogar Teresa de Jesús is a foster home for children in situation of vulnerability founded by the religious congregation of Carmelitas Teresas de San José in 1990. This Home has been taking care of children from 3 to 18 years old for thirty years. We embrace and educate this collective of young people due to the fact they can not receive the correct attention inside their own families or even because they have been abandoned or mistreated previously. For this reason, our main purpose is to recreate a familiar environment that provides these children a secure context where they can create healthy emotional ties, a solid self-esteem and achieve a positive development in social, psychological, moral and physical areas of their lives.
