Regional Center for Information and Support for NGOs was established in January 1993. We are an independent civic organization operating for the public benefit. We create social change through comprehensive support for non-governmental organizations and other grassroots civic initiatives aimed at building a civic society. We established a Regional Center to facilitate and educate future leaders and social leaders, and 25 years on, it still remains our main goal. Our statutory social goals have been focused on supporting and promoting NGOs as well as mobilizing and creating platforms for cooperation and exchange of experiences between them. We are a foundation that has partnership in its blood. We are building strong partnerships in the region and the country. We regularly support Gdańsk non-governmental organizations. We help in the creation, registration and subsequent functioning of NGOs through, among others, specialized, free consultancy and training.

The Neighborhood House "Dom Sąsiedzki w Pałacu" in Regional Center for Information and Support for NGOs is the local community centre created and run in cooperation with residents. This a place of developing passion, broadening interests, establishing new friendships, tightening bonds and intergenerational integration. Anyone willing can lead classes, take part in meetings organized by neighbours or simply drop by for coffee or tea. Dom Sąsiedzki w Pałacu is fuelled by the creativity and commitment of the residents. You can also come anytime to just sit and talk. What is typical for this place is friendly atmosphere and a welcoming attitude towards neighbourly integration. Everyone is welcome here and we all treat each other with respect. Thanks to this, we are able to create safe places, where everyone can develop at their own pace, in their own way.

The Neighborhood House "Dom sąsiedzki w Pałacu" builds social potential by involving the resources of individuals, families and groups informal organizations, organizations, local institutions, entrepreneurs and local government. It is open to age, cultural, religious and ethnic diversity, etc. It is a place open to people of different status social and material. Regional Center for Information and Support for NGOs operates in the field of: initiate, conduct and support information and educational activities in the field of development, promotion and strengthening of the idea of ​​a civic society; supporting other entities, in particular non-governmental organizations, initiatives civic, social economy entities; supporting the development of communities and local communities as well as democracy; creating, developing and promoting standards of civic activities; creating a platform for the exchange of thoughts, views, knowledge and experiences; creating, implementing and promoting social innovations; initiating and supporting cooperation between non-profit sectors - business - administration public; initiating, supporting and promoting political, social, cultural and economic citizen activties; promotion and organization of volunteering; supporting economic development, including entrepreneurship and social development organizational responsibility and social entrepreneurship; promotion of employment and professional activation of the unemployed and at risk of dismissal, solving problems in the labor market; science, education, culture and upbringing; conducting and supporting out-of-school forms of education; activities for the benefit of the disabled; social assistance, in particular in the field of: development of social services, integration and social welfare and counteracting social exclusion, maintaining the national tradition, cultivating Polishness and developing awareness national, civic and cultural; development of international cooperation, cooperation for European integration and developing contacts and cooperation between societies; charity and charity activities; health protection and promotion; taking other actions to support and develop democracy; providing free legal assistance to legal and natural persons and increasing legal awareness of the society; providing free civic counseling.
