Welcome to the WELT.RÄUME children's house and Montessori school,
The WELT.RÄUME Kinderhaus is a day care centre for children from the age of 3 until they start school. We work on the basis of Maria Montessori's reform pedagogical concept according to the guiding principle "Help me to do it myself". Children enjoy doing and moving. The prepared environment takes these needs into account: sensory material, exercises from daily life, material from the areas of language, mathematics and geography invite them to engage in action. Regular movement is also part of our concept.
The WELT.RÄUME Montessori School is a state-approved alternative school for grades 1-4, which works according to the principles of Montessori education. Freedom, enthusiasm, own experience and responsibility are important cornerstones of our educational concept. All areas of school learning such as language, mathematics, geography, history, biology, art and music are structured in such a way that the child first gets a rough overview of the connections in the world. Learning opportunities are often embedded in stories and narratives that make the connections clear. Presentations in the form of experiments provide access to physics, chemistry and biology. The children can continue their research independently in small groups. The WELT.RÄUME Montessori School works in cross-age learning groups.
