Beskrivelse af organisationen

Barn och Utbildningsförvaltningen (Youth and education administration) in Svenljunga Kommun is working for a more fair and just municipality for all our young citizens. Our organisation is called BUS, standing for Barn och unga i Svenljunga (Children and youth in Svenljunga) and our administration is a cooperation of public bodies working with youth questions such as: social workers, youth workers, family counselling, and many more. We operate in the entire municipality and our work is a more "hands on" work. We meet the young people where they are and have a variety of tools that enable us to support them, offer acitivities during school hours and even outside of them. Our main target group is youngster between 10-21 years. We work actively to prevent any sort of discrimination based on race, religion, gender, and any sort of background that is deviating from the norm.
