As the host organisation of European Solidarity Corps volunteers - Primary School No. 115 in Warsaw, together with a kindergarten department -we want to provide our pupils with the opportunity to stay in an international environment. The opportunity to meet people from other countries, interact with them, try to communicate in different languages, learn about new cultures and customs, will be a great opportunity for children and young people to deepen European values, learn openness and tolerance, broaden knowledge about Europe and the whole world, learn foreign languages. We would like to offer volunteers the opportunity to gain new experience in working with children and youth, which may determine their further professional decisions. Volunteering in our school will undoubtedly give the opportunity to cooperate with children and young people while supervising qualified staff. Observation of teachers and assistants will be an invaluable source of knowledge about the work of educators. During volunteering, volunteers will gain a number of new skills. Arranging or supporting various activities with the participation of children and young people teaches interpersonal communication, teamwork, project management, but also openness, patience, assertiveness and the ability to set your own boundaries. The volunteering offer in our facility is addressed to people interested in education, work with children and youth and having their own passions, which volunteers would like to share.
