A postulate: we inhabitants can reduce the feeling of isolation and anonymity in the city by simply changing our attitude and the way we look at our neighbors. We can all become creators of connections throughout our neighbourhoods.
Neighbourhood canteens meet two essential needs: eating well and feeling connected to others. The mission of Les Petites Cantines is to enable inhabitants of different generations and backgrounds to sit down together at the same table to forge close relationships and enable citizens to experience the pleasure of eating balanced, healthy and sustainable food.
Participation at open prices promotes access for all without financial capacity being an obstacle. The three founding values of the association are simplicity, proximity and social entrepreneurship.
