Association Info zona is founded in 2006 to advocate the realization of an information center for young people in Split.
The association's vision i(NEET), and youth policy decision-makers.
s informed, educated, active and independent young people in a society of equal opportunities.
Association’s goals are to:
- raise the level of information and media literacy among youth;
- improve the quality of life of young people;
- provide support in young people’s development;
- create preconditions for easier youth employment;
- develop feelings of autonomy and responsibility in young people;
- influence the definition of public policy concerning young people;
- advocate the active participation of young people in the local community and society in general.
The areas of activity of the Info zona in accordance with the goals are:
- Democratic political culture;
- Health protection;
- Culture and art;
- Human right;
- International cooperation with organizations and institutions;
- Education, science and research.
Info zona operates through 3 programs: Youth Information and Youth Counseling, Quality Youth Leisure (through Youth club Zona), Youth Policy and Advocacy.
The main target groups for all programs are mainly local youth and young tourists (15 to 30 years old) but also local and national youth, Youth not in employment, education or raining (NEET), and youth policy decision-makers.
