Beskrivning av organisationen

At De Nieuwe Maan Steiner School in Geel, Belgium, our aim is to provide a holistic education that nurtures children’s intellectual, artistic, and practical skills. Our curriculum is inspired by Steiner/Waldorf principles, focusing on creativity, critical thinking, and social responsibility. We consider it our pedagogical task to keep in touch with what is going on in society, not least in the field of upbringing and education. We work with kids from kindergarten through primary school, and we also involve parents and the local community in various activities. The children and their parents are active partners in the development of our school community.

We’re excited to apply for the ESC Quality Label because we believe it will bring fresh cultural perspectives to our school, enriching our educational environment. Hosting international volunteers will provide unique opportunities for our students and staff to learn and grow. Plus, it’s a great way to promote solidarity and intercultural understanding within our community.
