Beskrivning av organisationen

Kulturanova is a non-government, non-profit organization that initiates intercultural and intersectoral dialogue in society and focuses on raising awareness on relevant social issues and development of urban youth culture with the vision of building creative platforms for youth in Novi Sad and in region.
Organization was founded in 2001 in Novi Sad as “umbrella” association of various non-formal independent art groups and young individuals, activists.
The main target group of our activities are youngsters (18-35 years).
Kulturanova operates through its four program pillars:
1. Teatarnova - theatre and performance
2. Muzikanova - support for young musicians
3. Medianova - audio-visual and media contents
4. Futuranova - innovations in the cultural sector
Objectives of our organization:
1.Removing barriers to coexistence in NS and Vojvodina by initiating dialogue between various vulnerable sub-cultural groups
2.Developing a culture of dialogue between youngsters from Serbia and neighboring countries through the joint production of cultural content
3.Decentralization of culture
4.Active participation in the processes of planning and improving public policies in the field of youth and culture in NS, Vojvodina and Serbia
Kulturanova is an active member of networks: ENCC, IETM, Culture Action Europe, Amateo, b.Creative (Belgium), CircoStrada (France), the Fence (Sweden), NICE (Germany), River//Cities (Poland), Network for Building Peace, YouSEE (BH) KOMS, NKSS and OPENS (Serbia).
