Opis organizacije

FbF- Falken Bildungs- und Freizeitwerk Hagen EN e.V. is an independent youth association in Hagen, Germany, dedicated to empowering young people and fostering an inclusive society. Our programs build self-confidence, independence, and critical thinking, prioritizing democracy, social justice, and equal opportunities. We focus on youth from all backgrounds, especially those facing economic, social, and geographical barriers.

Our activities cover four main areas:

1. Digital Transformation: We promote digital literacy and skills for youth employability.
2. Inclusion and Diversity: We encourage social cohesion by fostering inclusive interactions across diverse backgrounds.
3. Environmental Action: Our programs emphasize sustainable practices aligned with the European Green Deal.
4. Civic Participation: We promote active citizenship, youth councils, and advocacy, building social responsibility.

We operate three youth centers, offering activities like homework support, holiday camps, cultural projects, and international clubs, all accessible to youth of various backgrounds. Our partnerships with local government and community organizations enhance opportunities for growth, especially for disadvantaged youth.

Applying for the European Solidarity Corps Quality Label aligns with our mission to expand these efforts internationally, fostering a just and democratic society.
