Dio Pigadia is a non-profit eco-farm, that promotes sustainable practices and community empowerment. With a focus on regenerative agriculture, inclusive decision-making, and holistic education, our mission extends to diverse target groups. Aims: Ecology: Raise awareness, implement local solutions, and apply permaculture design. Education: Share easily applicable sustainability solutions, maintain traditional knowledge, act as an educational and experimentation hub on democratic decision making and encourage cultural exchange. Inclusion: Experiment with self-organization, support the local community and create a welcoming public space. Target Groups: - Local Community: Collaborate with farmers, address local issues, and engage in cultural exchange. Organize open days, artistic events, community clean-up initiatives etc. - Volunteers: Provide transformative experiences, offer an escape, and address eco-anxiety. - Visitors and Tourists: Educate on sustainable practices, attract eco-tourists, and encourage international connections. - University Sector, Researchers, and Students: Collaborate for data collection on regenerative agriculture.
