Beskrivelse af organisationen

Organization "Laiks Jauniešiem" ("Time for Youth") is a non-profit organization founded in 2019 and based in Latvia, dedicated to fostering youth development and active citizenship within local communities. Our primary aim is to create favorable conditions for the intellectual and creative growth of young people, enabling their well-rounded personal development and fostering their active participation in community engagement and initiative.

We are actively involved in various activities that support youth development, social inclusion, and cultural exchange. These activities include non-formal education programs, mentorship opportunities, cultural events, sports events, and civic engagement initiatives such as youth debates and participation at local and national levels. Our target groups primarily include youth aged 13-30, vulnerable groups, especially from rural areas and low-income households.

The organization has expanded and operates across four regions in Latvia, including Bauska and Jelgava regions, Riga, and Salaspils. We are active members of several organizations at local and national levels, such as the “Bauskas rajona lauku partnerība”, “Latvijas Platforma attīstības sadarbībai - LAPAS”, and “Latvijas Jaunatnes padome”.
