Beskrivning av organisationen

The Rural Centre for Educational and Recreational Activities for Youth – CRAERT is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation based in Moșoaia, Argeș County, Romania, working to empower rural youth through inclusive educational, recreational, and psychosocial services. Our mission is to promote social inclusion, active citizenship, equal opportunities, and access to non-formal education for vulnerable young people aged 13–30, including those with disabilities, socio-economic challenges, or emotional difficulties.

CRAERT offers psychological counselling, hipotherapy, civic and environmental education, volunteering, nature camps, and creative workshops. Locally, we collaborate with public institutions and NGOs to run programmes like “Din Grijă pentru Tine” and "Theatre of the Oppressed". Internationally, we take part in Erasmus+ projects focused on inclusion, mental health, and sustainability with partners from Turkey, Serbia, Latvia, and more.

Our experienced team includes youth workers, psychologists, trainers, and communication experts who ensure safe, inclusive, and impactful learning experiences. CRAERT provides a supportive space for personal growth, intercultural dialogue, and community engagement. We seek Quality Label accreditation to further strengthen our role in hosting, supporting, and empowering ESC volunteers in meaningful, inclusive projects.
