Beskrivning av organisationen

IGMAN Ecologie (Name of the association in French) is a registered organization, created in 2018. It is a provincial non-profit organization working to protect environment and strengthens contributions of youth to society’s raising community’s awareness against climate change effects and how to develop resistance. We organize cleaning and planting campaigns. We create green clubs in schools. We run training and awareness sessions and events which aim to boost young people’s knowledge, competences and initiatives. As such, we help youth become (more) active in the local communities. We also encourage and coach young people to create their own green projects. We also run projects at provincial level with local authorities that aim to support and make a positive impact in these areas. Members of bureau and all other member are doing volunteer work in our organization. We count approximately 852 members. Our goals: * We aim to educate the community, especially youth and woman, about the importance of environmental protection and the urgent need to address climate change. * Engage and empower young people to take leadership roles in environmental initiatives, providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge. * We aim at raising awareness within local communities about the impacts of climate change and the importance of adopting sustainable practices through the implementation of small projects * Think and develop applicable solutions for the community to build resilience aga
