Sand für Alle is a non-profit, non-governmental organization and is recognized as an independent youth welfare organization. Sand für Alle offers sports activities for girls and boys aged 9 to 27, with a particular focus on beach-volleyball. Sand für Alle operates a large sand sports facility. In addition to its sports activities, Sand für Alle is also involved in international youth work. Its activities focus on the sustainability goals of the United Nations. Sand für Alle has long-standing partnerships with sports organizations in Athens (Greece) and Dar es Salaam (Tanzania). The aim of all its efforts is to educate young people to become global citizens with a deep understanding of social and environmental sustainability. Sand für Alle is characterized by the co-determination of its young members.
