The Lycée Amiral de Grasse is the city's historic high school, dating back to the early 20th century. Its architecture, with its listed facades framing the central courtyard and breathtaking views of the sea, make it a particularly pleasant setting. It is located in an urban environment, at the entrance to the historic city center. The high school, rooted in the city's history, is resolutely focused on the future. It welcomes approximately 1,100 students aged 15 to 18 who are preparing for the general or technological baccalaureate in three years, and 70 students in higher technical training. The entire school team is committed to providing them with the best possible educational conditions to prepare them for success in higher education, in particular by offering a very wide range of options for the choices they will have to make during their three years of high school education. The 50 classrooms, including 19 specialized classrooms, the amphitheater, the gymnasium, and the large Documentation and Information Center are equipped with high-performance educational and digital equipment, in addition to the digital tablet that each student receives upon arrival in their first year. The teaching staff supports students with kindness but also with high standards so that each one can flourish in their educational journey. The city of Grasse, known internationally as the City of Perfume, has a population of over 50,000. It is a major city in the middle of the French Riviera.
