The volunteers on mission bring their talents, their energy, their youth, their culture, their know-how and their interpersonal skills. They participate in workshop activities with people with mental disabilities, in conjunction with the workshop team. The activities offered at the workshops are: dance, equitherapy, balneotherapy, sensory awakening, musical awakening, theater, adapted sport, bonding with friends, French songs, cookies, recycled paper, DIY and furniture renovation, pompom mobiles, magnets in sandblasted cards, etc. Gradually the volunteers participate in team reflections on the evolution of activities, new projects, residents projects. They participate occasionally in the life of the household: preparation of menus, shopping, meals, maintenance. Their mission schedule is personalized.

Ubytování, stravování, doprava

The volunteer has his own private room or a studio in the household, with WIFI access. Meals are shared with the whole household in accordance with the diets of each. During his days off, the volunteers organize their meals.

Odborná příprava během činnosti

Volunteer will participate in 3 trainings with hosting organisation VISA-AD, and 2 seminars of the National Agency.

Profil účastníka

Volunteer shouldn't have any specific requirements, however, he/she should have a basic level of French.
