Sowing community offers you the experience of living and participing in the day-to-day life of a collective project. The main learning is about community life: assertive communication, taking care of oneself and others, sharing and maintaing the community spaces inside and outside of the house. Like trees in Sequoia's garden, we try to live in connection with seasons and the rhythms of nature around. You will learn how to manage an orchard in a permacultural way, how to make bread with sourdough in a wood-fired oven, how to prepare beer, other drinks and preserves. You also could learn to cook for a few people with fresh, healthy and varied food. We love to eat together! Last but not least, you can lead your own personal project, accompanied by a reference person, and involving the volunteers team and other Sequoia partners.
Nastanitev, prehrana in prevoz
There's a single room for each volunteer, we know that privacy is important for living together. In volunteers team's appartements, there's a kitchen, a dining room, a toilet with washing-machine and a terrace. We have lunch together from monday to friday. Rest of the meals are self-managed. We try to adapt to the needs of each person. Tell us! You can use some bicycles, we could share cars and we are near to train and bus station in Torelló (by walking is about 15 minutes away). From there you can go to Vic (20min, the capital of the area), Barcelona (1:40h) or the Pyrennees (1h).

-Managing of an ecological garden, using of tools and garden machinery -Elaboration of artisanal bread, preserves, traditional recipes with plants, fermented drinks, soap,... -Cooking healthy, varied and rich for several people -Clening, maintenance and small repairs in shared spaces -Participation and social life in activities that take place in Sequoia: celebrations, workshops, concerts, ... -Leading of your own personal project -Visiting nearby projectes or surroundings -Meeting new people for sure -Yes, of course, community life learning for your personal developement again!

We are looking for people interested in collectives and projects related to ecosocial transition. "Be the change that you'd like to see in the world" We learn together, we encourage and inspire each other, by our relationships we are creating a network of connected people. We'd like to build alternatives where life is in center, with respect, acceptance of diversity and cooperation instead of competion. During next months, in Sequoia In Sequoia we will be fixing the indoor and outdoor spaces in order to offer a collective place and give it life with many activities open to all audiences and related to nature, arts, community, nice food or any inspiration that come to us. Therefore, the volunteers will participate and witness the launch of a new ecosocial economy activity open to the nearby environment.
