"The 4th Mediterranean Academy for Youth" is scheduled to take place from July 12th to July 27th, 2024. During these 16 days, our dedicated team of volunteers will create an engaging environment in Asilah, Morocco, focusing on empowering youth through social innovation, democratic participation, and media education. As a volunteer, you will organize bike tours, support speakers, and help with meals. You will also prepare and clean the camp, ensure participants are on time, and assist with technical support and activities. There will be around 150 participants, and you will play a vital role in making the event a success.
Ubytování, stravování, doprava
Volunteers will be hosted at the summer center located by the Atlantic Ocean. The summer center is conveniently located near the city's main train station. Volunteers will be accommodated in bungalows, with four or five people sharing each bungalow. There are two communal bathrooms, one for males and one for females. The center includes two small stadiums: one for football and one for basketball. Meals will be served in the large restaurant of the center. Tap water is drinkable. There is no Wi-Fi at the summer center. Volunteers can wash their clothes manually in big sinks available on-site.

Volunteers will be able to fully immerse themselves in the interactive sessions, workshops, and cultural activities, fostering leadership and digital skills essential for effective engagement. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds will collaborate, united by the common goal of enhancing youth participation and understanding in the digital era.
Profil účastníka
We welcome an international group of 30 young adults between the ages of 18 and 30. This experience is ideal for those who are passionate about social innovation, democratic participation, and media education. It is ideal for individuals who thrive on collaborating, learning, and growing alongside other young leaders in a vibrant and interactive environment. While proficiency in English is beneficial, it is not mandatory. We encourage individuals who are eager to explore and embrace the cultural richness of Asilah, Morocco, while contributing to meaningful discussions and activities centered on youth, human rights, and digital transformations, to join us in this transformative journey.
