Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, migrants' rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Bolivia! You will learn about project management, having the chance to work hand in hand with a great team of professionals. You will support in project formulation, preparation of reports, manage relevant information to justify actions and liaise with other organisations and donors. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
Majutus, toitlustus, transport
You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located close to the office. You will receive a monthly allowance of 621€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport. For the activities of Alianza, a vehicle will be provided. You will also be covered with a health insurance (Henner).
Koolitused tegevuse ajal
You will provide support to the country coordination and the technical and economic team of the office for: fundraising actions, communication with donors and partners, design of new projects, technical and economic follow-up/monitoring of projects, and support in project evaluation. You will also coordinate the accompaniment of local partners for an adequate accountability based on funders' regulations and national regulations; you will participate in project articulation spaces and in coordination spaces with external consultants.
Osaleja profiil
We are looking for someone motivated and enthusiastic, preferably trained in gender studies. The following skills will be positively valued: good writing skills, sensitivity and facility to apply a gender perspective, ability to work in teams and to adapt to the country's context, as well as to different work environments. Previous experience and/or training in fundraising strategies and project formulation will be an asset. Also, a good command of Microsoft office, and being fluent in english (as well as in spanish) will be highly valued. Previous work experience is not necessary.
