Inclusive Learning In Volunteering Experiences (ILIVE!)
PERTEJ BARRIERAVE
TIRANA, Albaania
Kirjeldus
The ILIVE! project provides learning opportunities for young people with disabilities through sports volunteering. It brings together European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteers in international teams for short-term initiatives, fostering inclusive learning experiences and encouraging participation in both mainstream and disability-focused sports. ILIVE! also aims to expand inclusive volunteering by engaging more sports clubs and associations at the grassroot level. Volunteers will design campaigns to attract both young people with disabilities and new sports organisations to participate, promoting personal and professional growth. Key activities include organising volunteer taster sessions in various sports club roles such as hospitality, event management, bookkeeping, fundraising, facility maintenance, communications, and coaching. The project seeks 7 local and 5 international volunteers to promote multiculturalism, solidarity, and cultural understanding.
