The volunteers of LIMES ESC Team project will have the chance to be part of the preparation, organization, implementation and animation of the Taranto Pride Parade, scheduled on July 5th, 2025. In international teams, the young people will work on different aspects of event planning, such as promotion, animation and documentation, but not only ... During the four weeks of mobility the activities will include various learning moments of NFL (non-formal education) methods, which will give them chance, EU volunteers and locals, to work on various topics connected to LGBTQIA+ policies in Europe. The techniques used and experienced will be role-plays, gamification, debates, digital storytelling, theatre of oppressed and more. The accommodation for the international volunteers consists of a flat with two bedrooms, gender mixed, equipped with a kitchen and a bathroom. The number of beds in each room can be adjusted (between 2 and 4 beds per room). The flat is in the city centre of Taranto, in a condominium, on the 5th floor without elevator. Nearby the flat there are grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, self-service laundry and everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Volunteers will receive money to buy groceries and will be able to cook in the flat (200€); so as the volunteers receive pocket money (6€ per day)

The above mentioned activities will involve the volunteer for about 6 hours per day, circa 30 hours per week; during the week-ends, optional day trips will be organized. ESC are unique learning experiences for young people Each ESC project forsees that volunteers do receive a certificate called Youthpass. Check it out on the official website: www.youthpass.eu
Osaleja profiil
The project is open to young people between 18 and 30 years old, resident in EU countries. There is no need to be part of LGBTQ+ community, everyone who wants to support the cause can join, fundamental is the respect between all human beings. The project is a TEAM ESC project, so is important that an applicant did not yet reached the limit of 12 month of ESC volunteering. LIMES project will include 10 volunteers from EU countries and Italy.
