Join our ESC project in Maracena, Granada, and become part of a vibrant community. This project offers you the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities, support local youth initiatives, and gain hands-on experience. As a volunteer, you'll grow personally and professionally while making a positive impact in the local area. You will be part of a team of five volunteers who will bring along their own cultural background and personal knowledge adding value to our Youth Center. Majutus, toitlustus, transport
Volunteers will live together in a big shared house provided by the organisation, with a room for each of them. It is fully furnished with all the amenities and internet included. The house is offered with a big backyard. It is located in the center of Maracena and very close to the Youth Center
Koolitused tegevuse ajal
Daily participation in our youth center. Eco-volunteering (Ecocasa): teaching young local people about sustainability and environmental practices. Cultural workshops (cooking, language classes....). Erasmus+ projects (organisation and implementation of training courses/youth exchanges, promotion of mobilities, finding partners...). Organisation of intercultural/local events. Learn the Spanish language/teach your own language. Implementation and participation in workshops from the children's leisure space (Ludoteca). Preparation of the local summer camps activities.
Osaleja profiil
Each of the five volunteers will have a specific focus area, while also getting the chance to explore other fields: one volunteer for Ludoteca: working with children, designing educational games and workshops. one volunteer for the activities of the youth center activities: facilitating informal learning activities and supporting youth center events like cooking workshops and community activities. two volunteers for European projects: helping with Erasmus+ mobility programs, project planning, and group support. one volunteer for communication and digital content: managing social media, the website, newsletter, and podcast.
