ADRA Serbia is a humanitarian organization dedicated to reducing poverty and protecting vulnerable people. We improve the quality of life of Roma people, the homeless, and young people leaving care, through our programs in education, economic empowerment, and protection. Psycho-social support, prevention, and protection from gender-based violence are mainstreamed in the projects.
We are looking for a volunteer to help create campaigns that raise awareness about vulnerable groups and encourage citizens to show solidarity, get involved, and offer support. You will assist in the creation of a communication plan and social media content, as well as researching innovative ways and tools for communication and piloting them. Other tasks will include a broad set of activities, as organizing events, preparing fact sheets, releases, information materials, newsletters, and human-interest stories.
Majutus, toitlustus, transport
We will provide you with appropriate accommodation. You might share the accommodation with another volunteer in a situation when deployments overlap. You will have your own lockable room. The accommodation will be near our Community Center, near your workspace. The Community Center is 13 km (about 8.08 mi) away from the city center. The public lines to the city center are very frequent (every 5-15 minutes, depending on the public transport line). You will be provided with a monthly allowance of 450 EUR to cover the expenses for food and transport.

ADRA Serbia will ensure initial orientation training and ongoing training, always encouraging self-assessment and adjustment of arrangements to have a maximum positive impact.
Your learning and development are important to us! So, you will have the opportunity and be encouraged to attend various training workshops in various modalities. Most of the trainings ADRA offers to its staff are related to the specific groups and how to work with them – homeless people, young people leaving care.

Osaleja profiil
We are looking for a dedicated volunteer with a passion for helping others and promoting solidarity. The volunteer should be culturally sensitive and willing to learn and work in a team with an interest in communications and marketing.
Apply if you are creative, have a BA in communications or a relevant field, have strong organizational and communication skills, have digital skills, or are inclined to do research and make necessary changes.
