We have 5 open ESC positions, each in a different day care center, to work with children in age 0 to 6. Some of these are bilingual (German-French) centers, but in general all kitas host multicultural staff of pedagogs and children too. Your tasks are: supporting the educators in one group of children in their daily activities - role playing, sport, arts; supporting the kitchen; going with the children on excursions; realizing a personal project with the children if desired, such as handycrafts or games. You will as well attend intercultural events in some evenings or weekends, and have the chance to organise your own. Majutus, toitlustus, transport
You will be accommodated in a shared house with other ESC volunteers. You will have your own room and share the common areas, experiencing an international community life. The house is located right next to the city and has tram and train stations at walking distance. You will receive approx. 500 € pocket money and food allowance every month. Koolitused tegevuse ajal
You will follow a 50-hours German course in group with other ESC volunteers. You will take part to two seminars of 2 weeks: here you will meet other ESC volunteers in Germany, share your experiences, learn and talk about the main concepts of the European Solidarity Corps. You will learn about both local and international cultures by attending a cycle of intercultural meetings. Osaleja profiil
• At least 18 years old • Interest in educational work and in all its aspects • Interest in working with children in age 0-6 • Some knowledge of English and possibly French, basic skills in German are helpful • having an accredited sending organization • Open to get to know Germany and German culture, sharing an international environment.
