We are looking for one European volunteer to complete our team at Gramigna APS, an Italian NGO based in a beautiful village in the South of Italy named Torrecuso. Our organisation is dedicated to social inclusion, sustainability, and youth empowerment. Three international volunteers have already been selected and are ready to go - we are just looking for the 4th and final member to complete our team for this short-term edition! ● Dates: June 5th – August 2nd The ESC volunteering opportunity with Gramigna APS in Torrecuso, Italy, focuses on social and environmental sustainability in rural areas. Volunteers will engage in activities like non-formal education, community research, summer camp, optional experiences in sustainable agriculture (e.g., grape/olive oil production), and communication tasks.

● Accommodation: You will live with the other international volunteers in a big apartment (4 volunteers in total). You will have a double room to be shared with one other young volunteer (of the same gender). The apartment has 2 toilets/bathrooms and shared kitchen and dining room. ● Financial Support: Pocket money is provided each month, along with a dedicated food money allowance according to official ESC standards - total of 360 eur/month. ● Travel & Transport: Your travel to and from Italy will be reimbursed up to the official ESC distance calculator limit.

Volunteers about workplace safety, multimedia content creation, sustainable agriculture, During your stay, you will have the unique opportunity to get hands-on training in international youth work. At the end of June, you will actively join and support the hosting of an international camp training that will take place on a farm in the nearby city of Benevento. This is a great chance to learn non-formal education methodologies in a multicultural, outdoor setting. The person will take part in a local festival being part of the organization
Profil účastníka
We are looking for an open-minded European volunteer (aged 18–30) who wants to gain international experience as an active part of our NGO. You should be open to experimenting with new ways of working and to the change that this experience can bring about in you. Your tasks will include (the list is not exhaustive): ● Working with youth for workshop activities and social awareness campaigns. ● Supporting local festivals focused on social work and community building. ● Running daily summer camp activities and games with kids. ● Social media management support - ex. creation of digital support for communication. ● Volunteers are responsible for cleaning their rooms and common spaces in the house they share, also for cooking their meals - you should be autonomous and cooperative on this matter. You will have all our support during your mission for any issue you will face concerning your volunteering of your life in Torrecuso. In Gramigna, sustainability is our core, and it shapes every single aspect of our organisation.
