AFR VIVADO is a youth centre, located near Angers, in the West of France. We are recruiting a European volunteer from September 2026 to February 2027. The volunteer will be fully integrated in our team of youth workers. The volunteer will mainly work with young people from 11 to 17 years old.
You will
- Prepare activities for the young people with the youth workers team
- Support the youth workers in the implementation of the activities
- Propose and co-animate activities according to your own interests (sport, music, painting, etc.)
- Propose and co-animate activities for discovering the European Union and your own country
- Occasionally, participate in activities for promoting the European Solidarity Corps Programme: participation to communication events, publication on social network, etc.

Ubytování, stravování, doprava
The program covers: travel expenses, accommodation, food (allowance around 200 € / month), bus or train transport, pocket money (8 € per day) and health insurance. You will be in a residence for young people in the city centre of Angers. You will be in a single room with bathroom and toilet. You will have free access to a shared kitchen and to a cheap restaurant (6 € for a full dinner).
We will cover your train expenses from Angers to Saumur. Each day, we will drive you from the Saumur train station. You will have a travel card for public transport (tram and buses) in Angers.
Odborná příprava během činnosti
The volunteer will follow a starting seminar at the beginning of their projects with other ESC volunteers in France (on arrival training). It will last one week. He/she will be with other European Volunteers during this on arrival training.
Profil účastníka
We are looking for volunteers who are :
- open-minded, curious to discover a new culture and happy to speak about their own countries
- respectful of others and are willing to make an effort to adapt to different and new situations and activities
- able to communicate and to involve others in a project or event
- motivated to work with young people
- motivated to work in team (the staff members of AFR Vivado are young).
- Understanding and speaking French would be a plus.
