Join this opportunity and experience firsthand, what it is like to help those in need. We are offering a placement at the Reformed Church Aid Tiszta Forrás Center for the Homeless. The Center serves people who don't have a home or live in inadequate housing conditions or in severe poverty. You can join a team of dedicated and enthusiastic social workers and helpers and have a direct effect on the lives of others. The Center is located in Budapest, the beautiful capital of Hungary.
Dzīvošana, ēdināšana un transports
Costs of accommodation, food, and travel to and from Hungary are covered by the program. One to three volunteers live in a shared apartment, all having a separate room but sharing a common kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is decently equipped, and it is located in the 18th district of Budapest, close to the venue of the activity.
Mācības pasākuma laikā
During your stay, you will be encouraged to learn Hungarian and improve your other language skills. An online language tool will be offered free of charge, and we are usually able to offer in-person classes, too. We organize a welcome, a mid-term, and a closing seminar for our volunteers, and they will also participate in the seminars offered by the Hungarian National Agency. During your volunteering activity, you will be able to grow both personally and professionally.
Dalībnieka profils
Young people between 18 and 30 years of age who are eager to work with the homeless. No previous experience is required.
