Kirjeldus
The KinderKiste is a day care centre for school children between 6 and 14 years. They come with a bus after school to the centre, receive something warm to eat (freshly cooked meal) and they can work on their homeworks and become some support. At the end the children can spend their leisure time in various topic spaces. The main aim of the institution is to show the positive and self-determined leisure activities to the children, that the children can learn creatively and actively deal with free time. For this purpose, the centre offers possibilities for the creative, household, sport and practical areas.
Majutus, toitlustus, transport
The volunteer will receive: room in a flat in Hammelburg in shared flat with other volunteers, pocket money, food money, German language course, insurance, reimbursement of the international travel costs (two ways),Deutschland Ticket and pedagogical, organizational and personal support.
Koolitused tegevuse ajal
The volunteer will participate in ESC-seminars (on arrival and mid-term). Once a month the project coordinators and all the volunteers from Lower Franconia meet and we do interesting things together.
Osaleja profiil
We are looking for a volunteer (18-30 years old) who is motivated to take part in the Project.
we are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, is open-minded and aware of responsibilities. Knowledge of German language will be an advantage.
