The volunteer will join the team of the School trips and Camps Department of the FOL69. The mission focuses on ecological transition, with a particular emphasis on identifying and collecting tools as well as good practices that can be implemented across the holiday centers managed by the FOL69. The volunteer will work with a wide range of audiences, including : permanent staff members, youth and other local partners. Their role will contribute to strengthening the federation’s ecological transition strategy and supporting the dissemination of sustainable practices within its different structures. Main tasks : • Identifying and documenting good environmental practices within FOL69 and its network. • Supporting the ecological transition strategy for the future Holiday camp managed by la FOL69. • Designing and facilitating eco‑awareness activities with teams, partners, and different audiences. • Encouraging green practices in FOL69’s office.
Ubytování, stravování, doprava
The volunteer will live in a shared apartment with other young people in a student’s residence. The volunteer will have an individual room and access to a kitchen (with a food allowance). The residence is near a metro station. A public transportation card or a membership card for the city bike (Vélov’) will be provided. According to the ESC program, a small allowance will be provided for personal expenses.
Odborná příprava během činnosti
The volunteer will have access to linguistic support (online platform and French class depending on needs and availabilities). Also, they will attend to the trainings organised by the National Agency (on arrival training and mid-term training). The volunteer will have a tutor and and ESC coordinator. In addition, 3 following meetings with them, the tutor and ESC coordinator will be organized along their mission. A YouthPass training will be organized by FOL69.
Profil účastníka
This mission is ideal for someone who: - Is autonomous and able to take initiative. - Communicates easily with others and enjoys teamwork. - Is adaptable and comfortable in various environments (office work, field visits, meetings, workshops). - Shows a strong interest and sensitivity to ecological transition and sustainability. - Has a basic level of French to be able to communicate with the team and target groups. - Aged between 18 and 30 years old and legally residing in an EU member state or in a partner country of the ESC program.
