The International Scout Centre Rustavi (ISCR) operates in multiple locations across Georgia, providing volunteers with diverse learning and volunteering environments. The main centre is located in Rustavi, a city situated 27 km from Tbilisi, Georgia's capital.
We are looking for long-term volunteers from Germany for the 2026-2027 season. Volunteer mission starts in Autumn and lasts for at least 6 months with a possibility of extension:
- Working with Children and Youth
- Social Media & Content Creation
- Project and Event Management
- Upkeeping & Maintenance
This rotation system allows all volunteers to experience different aspects of ISCR’s daily operations while ensuring a fair distribution of responsibilities. Volunteers will work in teams, and schedules will be planned in advance to provide variety and balance in their tasks.

Housing:
- Volunteers will stay in the apartment in the city centre of Rustavi.
- Apartments are equipped with based appliances and furniture.
- Private bedroom or shared bedrooms with one other Volunteer from the same gender
- shared areas with other volunteers
Financial Support and Health Insurance: During the programme health insurance, pocket money and food allowance are covered by the ESC programme.
Additional Support:
- Georgian language course is provided from beginning of the mission.
- Mentors to to assist with getting to know local culture

- Volunteers will have mentors to support during their stay in Georgia in order to assist volunteers with getting to know local culture scout centre offers cultural activities throughout the project.
- There will be a kick-off seminar in Georgia and an midterm-training to facilitate reflection.
Osaleja profiil
- Age: 18–30 years old
- Citizenship: Germany
- Language: English (B1 level or higher)
- Working with children and you: Previous experience working with children or youth, combined with patience, a strong sense of responsibility, and motivation to actively engage young participants. Interest or experience in outdoor and adventure education (e.g. hiking, climbing, bouldering, archery) and willingness to work using non-formal, learning-by-doing methods.
- Social media and communication: Basic experience in creating, editing, and publishing photo and video content, and working with social media platforms. Familiarity with digital tools such as Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, blogging or website platforms, combined with creativity and visual storytelling skills Project and event management Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to support the planning and implementation of events. Creativity and communication skills to help promote activities, volunteering opportunities, and organisational initiatives to a wider audience.
