A beach clean-up is also an opportunity to gather new data about the state of our coasts and the types of trash that pollutes them. By identifying the most harmful debris items, environmental groups can find ways to stop them from entering the ocean or being littered again on beaches This data is hugely important as it helps us track the common items we find on our beaches and then campaign for change. Your main activities will be gathering information from the Beach Cleanings from all the camps; Lead the Beach Clean up Activity Gather the daily data from Beach Cleaning Review current data collection methods Improve our recycling process Generate data visualization products, including dashboards, infographics, and maps Preparing and presenting communication materials Design data collection tools Enhance collaboration among the various organizations that carry out beach cleans Assist in preparing the data reports
Akkomodazzjoni, ikel u arranġamenti tat-trasport
During the workcamps the leaders will share a double or quadruple room in a house fully equipped. Beds are provided, however, volunteers should bring their own warm sleeping bags. Food is provided and everyone is expected to do their fair share of the cooking and cleaning. We provide a well-balanced and healthy variety of food products that includes a wide variety of whole grains, seasonal fruits & vegetables, pantry staples, dairy products, and vegetarian/vegan options. Transportation-related to the workcamps will be provided by the organization.

The project reflects learning opportunities for the volunteers as well as for our organisation and the community where it will take place. By hosting ESC volunteers, we bring another long-term international dimension to the organization with our internship program, educational tours and short-term projects. Discovering many kinds of new techniques related to environmental sustainability, new skills, a new language, involving children and youngsters in creative sessions and take responsibility to realize an own project.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven candidates who are able to work independently on projects and can bring and implement ideas and all-scale solutions to climate change reduction and sustainable lifestyles. Environmental Science Background Open to creative ideas/known risks, is a pragmatic problem solver, makes improvements An Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate level of English is required. Motivated to live with other international volunteers and lead a sustainable lifestyle and fight global warming. Outdoors personality; hiking, camping, exploring!
