The aim of Keila youth center is to give various opportunities to young people of Keila and nearby areas to develop their competences. There are different possibilities offered by Keila YC to spend their free time. The target group is aged 7-26, but the main group is young 7-17 years old. There is the average about 40-50 people visiting the center daily. Activities:There are numerous opportunities for activities in Keila YC, since it's is a spacious building, with 2 floors and sports hall. On the second floor: media room, where photo and video clubs are taken place. Well equipped kitchen, offices for the manager and youth workers. On the first floor: Free time spending possibilities, i.e billiard, X-box, table football, ping pong table, numerous board games , an open room for a group of young volunteers, where they have the chance to sign up to work in short shifts after the end of their school day, getting their first working experiences. It also offers a space where different concerts, theme-nights (like poetry reading, board games tournaments, cultural evenings etc.) and other events can be organized. Radio room, which is equipped to run the youth centers own broadcast or a live radio show. Band room for young musicians& bands to rehearse, also a recording room. For creative ones, there are also weekly art and handicraft and clay classes. In the sports hall there are daily various trainings, i.e basketball, volleyball, football and it's also a good spacious place to do events for the young people. Outside of the YC there is a basketball court, a skate ramp and ping pong table. We also organize various events and camps on school holidays and do co-operation with other local institutions i.e school.
