Organisatsiooni kirjeldus:

Our organization AAP is located in Alicante near the town of Villena. The main function of AAP is to work for Animal Welfare, we rescue wildlife such as primates and felines that were once extracted or deprived of being born and growing up in a natural environment. Our work is to rescue and rehabilitate these species and as far as possible to improve their quality of life. We have been working since 2016 as an entity that welcomes volunteers from all over the world. We offer an experience of non-formal learning to these young people in the handling and care of animals, but also the vital experience of living abroad, learning a new culture, achieving personal development, environmental awareness and development of activities that promote the conservation of our immediate and more general environment. We therefore also stimulate Environmental Projects to contribute to the mentality of the Youth in general. We are aware that many young Europeans can realize their dreams of traveling and living in Spain doing a volunteer activity that they like. Thanks to the benefits and security that the European Solidarity Corps Program provides them together with the schools, the families and individuals who visit us and our partners and sympathizers from all over the world. It is not only about acquiring skills in handling animals but it is a non-formal learning of many other competences, values and attitudes. A once in a lifetime experience!
